1950s Peach Silk Nightgown – Chiffon Bodice with Clover Appliqués & Embroidery

This breathtaking 1950s silk nightgown is pure elegance. The bodice features sheer natural chiffon adorned with delicate silk clover appliqués, each outlined in exquisite embroidery. The flowing peach silk drapes beautifully, making it perfect for lounging in style or even as a dreamy summer party dress. In excellent condition for its age, with only two tiny pinholes in one sleeve, which I thoughtfully covered with vintage lace—just another touch of vintage charm. Condition & Care

• Vintage and antique items have been previously loved, so small imperfections may exist.

• Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.

Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:

• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).

• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.

• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
